If you love little dogs who are a lot of fun with people and other dogs, you should do yourself a favor and meet Bijou, a happy, well-adjusted 1 & ½ year old who, up until recently, didn’t know what a toy was or how to play.

It was only 6 months ago that she and her family came to HB.  They were hairless, scared of everything and everyone. It took weeks of gentle touches and soothing voices to teach them that people can be kind and caring.  That is all in her rearview mirror and ready to start her new life!  She has been living in a foster home and also enjoys meeting new friends at a doggy daycare!

Homeward Bound Pet Rescue, Inc. is located in Blue Ridge, Gilmer Co., Georgia.  We are a volunteer run organization that was established in 2000 and have successfully found forever homes for thousands of unwanted cats and dogs.  We meet by appointment only.  Our pets are up to date on vaccinations, monthly preventatives, spayed and neutered (unless otherwise disclosed due to illness or age).

All available pet bios can be found on our website; https://hbpr.org.  Click on the Adoption tab for available pets.  Click on Foster if interested in fostering.  Click on Donation to make a difference in the lives of the animals in our care.  Click on Volunteer to join us in our mission to find forever homes for our pets.
