Meet Cairo, an adorable 20 lb., 1-year-old Chiweenie, who is waiting to meet you.  He is a fun boy who enjoys spending time with the peeps whether it’s taking a walk, given the freedom of a fenced-in area to show his playful side or just snuggling during some quiet time.  So, if you’re looking for a cheerful companion who spreads smiles with his every wag, look no further – Cairo is the pup for you!

Homeward Bound Pet Rescue is located in Blue Ridge, Gilmer Co., Georgia. We are a volunteer run organization that was established in 2000 and have successfully found forever homes for thousands of unwanted cats and dogs..  We meet by appointment only.  Our pets are up to date on vaccinations, monthly preventatives, spayed and neutered (unless otherwise disclosed due to illness or age).   All available pet bios on our website.
