Meet our lovely “puppy”, Janie!  She is as sweet as she is beautiful.  Janie was found abandoned with her siblings when they were tiny babies.  She has been at a foster home until recently when she came to the rescue location.  Janie is doing well on a leash, is a gentle, thoughtful dog and house trained.  She quietly waits her turn to go out and for food.  Janie is around 6 months and 50 pounds now.   Although we cannot predict just how  big she will be at maturity, larger dogs can grow until they are 18 months old.

Homeward Bound Pet Rescue is located in Blue Ridge, Gilmer Co., Georgia. We are a volunteer run organization that was established in 2000 and have successfully found forever homes for thousands of unwanted cats and dogs..  We meet by appointment only.  Our pets are up to date on vaccinations, monthly preventatives, spayed and neutered (unless otherwise disclosed due to illness or age).   All available pet bios on our website.
