This July, Dahlonega is celebrating everyone’s favorite holiday a little early! While the Christmas in a Small Town convention is bringing a touch of Hallmark magic to our community, our charming downtown is also getting into the festive spirit — with no ticket required.

ABOUT THE CONVENTION

The Christmas in a Small Town convention, hosted at the University of North Georgia’s Convocation Center, is a ticketed event. This exclusive gathering includes celebrity guests from holiday films, panels, meet-and-greets, and more!

WHAT TO EXPECT DOWNTOWN

The downtown celebrations are free and open to the public—no ticket needed. Everyone is welcome to enjoy the seasonal specials and small-town holiday spirit.

From July 25–28, downtown Dahlonega will be dressed in holiday charm with:

• Light decorations and touches of Christmas cheer
• Special menus and themed treats from local restaurants
• Holiday merchandise and pop-ups in participating shops
• A tree lighting and festive photo ops
• Mini events and activities hosted by downtown businesses

This is a fun sneak peek of what Dahlonega is known for during the full holiday season — a taste of Christmas in the mountains.
