Meet Jake, a 7 year old CHUG; a cute blend of Chihuahua and Pug.  When you look at Jake, you just have to smile at his sweet personality and when you know his story, you just want to hug him to make him feel like he’s not alone.  Jake’s owner passed away recently and he ended up being returned to HBPR.  After being an only pet in a home where he was spoiled, the realities of being at a rescue is noisy and confusing.  Our Christmas wish for Jake is for him to find a foster home where he can stay until adopted or that his family will see this post and make the decision to adopt him and provide a forever and ever home.

Homeward Bound Pet Rescue is located in Blue Ridge, Gilmer Co., Georgia. We are a volunteer run organization that was established in 2000 and have successfully found forever homes for thousands of unwanted cats and dogs..  We meet by appointment only.  All available pet bios on our website.
