Homeward bound pet of the week: Cotton

Fast & Furriest

Can you resist this smile?  Meet Cotton, a 9 pound, 10 year old Shihtzu mix who came to us via animal control where he was picked up as a stray and nobody claimed him.  Cotton never meets a stranger and is always ready to play or snuggle.  He makes a great co-pilot and loves to sleep next to his person. Cotton had a vet visit recently and we found out that he is visually impaired.  It was a total surprise because he never gave us a clue.  He’s never walked into a wall; plays and walks as well as any of the dogs he is fostered with.  His hearing is 100% and will follow you around.  Cotton is looking for a retirement home where he can get and give lots of love and attention.

For more information about the Homeward Bound Pet Rescue pets, check out our website and apply to adopt online:  www.hbpr.org.  We are always looking for volunteers to foster and help with socializing our cats and dogs.  We are located between Ellijay and Blue Ridge, GA.
