WHAT: Holla Yella Music Festival w/ Saxsquatch, Funk You

2021 will mark the inaugural Holla Yella Music Festival, held near downtown Ellijay, Georgia in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains. 

The festival aims to become one of Georgia’s leading music and arts festivals. This celebration brings together music artists from genres including rock, classic rock, roots, indie, funk and jam bands for one amazing day of fun in the sun along the Cartecay River. 

The mission of the festival is to bring people together to inspire positive connections through music and the arts. Bands, artists and a select group of invitation-only vendors will be carefully curated to reflect this mentality.

WHAT: Art 103, Summertime Workshop

WHERE: Southern Flare Antiques and Interiors

Art 103, Summertime Painting Workshop
Introduction to palette knife painting.
A rustic old boat in light summer colors like aqua and grey tones with bright white accents on a secluded beach and calm ocean backdrop.
3 sessions: July 9, August 13, Sept 10 at 11am-1pm, $105 ($35/session)
Build on your current knowledge or skill working with Acrylic paints and gel medium on Canvas, painting this lovely beach scene.
Enhance your cloud forming skills in Becca’s class. Learn to define and form each cloud by building layers with a gel medium added to the acrylic paints. Identify which brush to use in each step of the scene. Everybody’s welcome–from Beginners to Advanced. We all learn from each other and have so much fun creating at Southern Flare’s workshops by the River. (Ticket information on link)
