HOMEWARD BOUND PET RESCUE’S PET OF WEEK: CASPER

Fast & Furriest

HOMEWARD BOUND PET RESCUE’S  PET OF WEEK

Casper, with the dreamy blue eyes,  has been waiting for a very long time for his special people to find him.  His story sounds like so many others.  He was adopted as a puppy and when he was several months old; family got a transfer and the puppy, Casper, was not included with these plans.  He came back to HBPR in August, 2024 and he was in a deep depression for weeks.  It took the volunteers a combined effort to heal his heart and mind.  Today, he’s a happy, confident boy who has enjoyed trips to a doggy daycare, tasting pupcups, and walking downtown Ellijay and Blue Ridge. Casper has a select group of volunteers whom he loves and trusts implicitly and it shows.  It’s all smiles, kisses and goofing around. This kind of relationship doesn’t happen overnight.  All things worthwhile take time and patience.
