FOXFIRE’S MOUNTAINEER FESTIVAL

Step back into mountain life with folk and craft artisans, wagon rides, children’s games, and lively competitions including pig racing and crosscut saw challenges. Watch heritage skills come alive through demonstrations, enjoy live music all day long, and come hungry for favorites from Blue Hound Barbecueand The Sunday Diner.

Admission is $10 for adults (16+), $5 for kids ages 6–15, and free for children 5 and under. This is Foxfire’s biggest fundraiser of the year, supporting our mission to preserve and share Appalachian heritage for generations to come.
