The day kicks off at 9:00 AM at the McCaysville/Toccoa River Park with a Children’s Fishing Rodeo. The City of McCaysville is partnering with Georgia DNR to host this event. You can bring your own fishing pole but if you don’t have one, they will provide one for you. The event ends with a complimentary lunch at 12:00 p.m.
Independence Day Parade will be in the center of town at 1:00 pm!
The skies over the twin cities of McCaysville, Ga and Copperhill, TN will be lit up on Saturday night. Anywhere downtown is a great viewing area!
Don’t want to drive? You can board the Firework Express in Downtown Blue Ridge and arrive by train.
