Mark Your Calendar for the 11th Annual Georgia Mountain Storytelling Festival on April 4-5, 2025!

Join us for two days of family-friendly fun! We’ll have storytelling, workshops, a quilt display, and more!
The 2025 Georgia Mountain Storytelling Festival will be held at The Ridges Resort on Lake Chatuge,a lovely lakeside venue with plentiful parking and a terrific view of the surrounding area. You’re in for a treat! The address is 3499 US-76, Young Harris, GA 30582.

Tickets:
Tickets are on sale now! Take advantage of our early-bird specials through Eventbrite: https://2025GMSF.eventbrite.com
We offer discounts for senior citizens, military personnel, college students, students/teachers, individuals with disabilities, and low-income individuals who can attend for free. The maximum in-person ticket price (at the door) is $20 per day or $35 for two days. Online viewing tickets are $10 each.


Lodging:
You can stay on-site for the festival! The Ridges Resort on Lake Chatuge is offering festival visitors a deeply discounted rate for reserving rooms early: $149/night + taxes & fees. Call 706-896-2262, ext. #1, by 3/4/2025 to take advantage of the GMSF2025 rate.

Teacher’s Guide:
As part of our educational mission, we’re pleased to welcome teachers and their classes to the festival at no cost. Please see our 2025 Guide for Teachers for information on the storytellers, sample assignments, and other ideas for weaving storytelling into your curriculum.

Volunteering:
The festival is entirely volunteer-run. Many jobs and shifts are available. In exchange for working a shift, volunteers will receive a free festival ticket, a t-shirt, and the undying gratitude of the organizers. Click here for more information and to sign up.
