Sunday at 6 p.m. join us in the park for Good Sam’s interdenominational worship service and congregational singing. Stay a while to visit with folks and to enjoy an old-fashioned ice cream social provided by our local Dairy Queen.
Monday, Good Samaritan hosts their 41st Annual Labor Day Bar-B-Que served with local Blue Grass and Gospel Music. Just follow the smoke or follow the signs to find the park and ticket booths. Meals are served from 11:30 to 6:00…unless we run out of food. Weekend guests and cabin folks checking out can enjoy music and barbecue and even shop downtown before heading home.
Your BBQ plate comes with all the fixins, a bottled drink and a locally grown apple from Merciers Orchard (located just up Highway 5). Choice of meat for your meal would be St Louis Style ribs, pulled pork sandwich or one half chicken. You can stay to enjoy your meal in the park on a picnic table under the tents or use the convenient drive-thru to take meals home for your family and guests.
Bring your lawn chair and plan to stay a while.
No presale of tickets this year, tickets may be purchased at the event.
