Valentine’s Date Ideas

It’s that time of the year again when you and your sweetheart get all dressed up and go out for the night to show each other how much you love each other. It can be challenging to know where to go or what to do for that special day especially if you can’t celebrate exactly on Valentine’s Day. To make figuring out what to do easier here are what some of the places around North Georgia are offering for couples to enjoy.

Shenanigans Pub

Shenanigans Pub in Dahlonega is offering a pre-Valentine’s Day weekend special. Beginning Friday, Feb., 11 at 11:00 a.m. through 9:00 p.m and lasting through Feb., 13.

The special includes two starters, two entrees, two desserts, and five drink options. These options will be included alongside the regular menu that is available.

As usual, there will be a live music performance on Saturday from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. It will be Tom and Juli the usual duo that plays.

Bourbon Street Grille

Bourbon Street Grille in Dahlonega will offer a Valentine’s Day weekend special. The Grille will be open their regular hours during the weekend.

The special includes an option for brunch from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. There is one appetizer option that is available all day. Two entree options will be available after 3:00 p.m.

For those that have saved room, there will be one dessert option. Lastly, there will be two drinks available for $11 each.

Amanda’s Farm to Fork

Amanda’s Farm to Fork is a restaurant in Lula, Georgia. On Monday, Feb. 14 they will be hosting Cowboy Candy and Kisses Valentine Dinner. It will be hosted from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

CLS Photography will be available on-site to take pictures of the night for the couples. Unfortunately at this time, the event is sold out at the restaurant but you can contact them to arrange for the meal to be a to-go order.

Valentines Craft Fair

On Saturday, Feb. 12 from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. the Sautee Junction will be hosting a craft fair. The event is being hosted by Sweet Southern Creations LLC.

The event will be held alongside The Valentines Market. You will be able to buy all your valentine treats at the craft fair and get some shopping done at local shops during the market.

Family Valentine’s Party

Cherry Street Brewpub at Halcyon, Furkids Animal Rescue, and Shelter along with three others are hosting a family valentine party. This will be held on Saturday, Feb. 12 from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. The event takes places in Halcyon, Forsyth.

There will be brunch or lunch offered at the restaurants. A live performance by Pop Violinist Michelle Winters. Also will be a meet and greet with Mickey and Minnie.

Along with Furkids puppy kissing booth, and valentines crafts. The event is free and no preregistration is required.

These are just a few of the many events happening in the area around or on Valentine. There is something for everyone to enjoy.
