The 50th Annual Georgia Apple Festival is right around the corner!

Here are some things to keep in mind about this year’s festival:

10 and under are free
No pets allowed. On-site boarding available.
On-site parking is available as well as shuttles from Downtown Ellijay.

Last Chance to Apply for Apple Festival Parade

The deadline to apply for October 8th’s Georgia Apple Festival Parade is 5 pm on October 1st.

The theme is “The Golden Year” in honor of the 50th anniversary of the Georgia Apple Festival and prizes will be awarded to the best, most original participants.

We need about 10 more participants to make this parade possible.

The 50th Annual Georgia Apple Festival and Apple Arts are just a week away and we need your help to welcome our visitors. Volunteers are needed at the Georgia Apple Festival and include admittance and a meal. In addition to greeting visitors at the gates, we need volunteers to help give out tourism information during the festival. We will also need volunteers at the Downtown Welcome Center. Dates are Saturday and Sunday, October 9 & 10, and Saturday and Sunday, October 16 & 17. Morning shifts start at 8:30 am and afternoon shifts at 12:30 pm.
